TV plays fine so long as it is confined to the right pane of the MJ Window.  But if I try to go to full screen mode, MJ drops my monitor resolution down to 640 x 480 from 1024 x 768 where I normally run it.  In addition the screen goes black, no video, but the audio is fine.  No controls work, and the only way I can exit the program is with Task Manager.  Even after I close MJ with Task Manager, the audio from the TV continues to play and won't quit until I reboot.

I'm using the most recent build of MJ (267).  I've downloaded and installed all the previous 8.0 betas, and this is my first problem.  I have only used the MJ TV Tuner a few times in the past, but each time all went as it should.  The ATI TV player works fine.

Not sure.  We've seen something similar on Win98 recently, but on XP Home with the same card, it's working fine for me.

Try a right click on the screen/display/full screen/Desktop Resolution.

Mea culpa!  Went back and looked more carefully at the context menu and discovered that I had to set the full screen resolution.  Because I hadn't, it was defaulting to 640 x 480.  I set it at 1024 x 768, and it is working fine now.

Damn!  I thought I finally had something useful to contribute.  No kidding, I've never had a problem with MJ.  I don't do a lot of fancy stuff, but I use it every day, and it's always answered the call just fine, no matter what the version.

Hi Tuillo;

I've found it best to set to "Desktop Resolution" as I often change my basic screen resolution & "Desktop Resolution" automatically adjust to the current resolution of your monitor.
