AAC-audio problem?
« on: May 27, 2012, 05:29:07 am »

When I play a certain .aac file, MC seems to think it is live-streaming. The progress bar isn't moving and the display shows "Live"
As far as I know it is just an .aac audio file like any other (w/o container).

I think raw AAC is only common in web radio (which is live).

So raw AAC (with no MP4 container) does not currently support seeking or duration in Media Center.

I would recommend using an MP4 container for files you're storing.  It allows tagging, seeking, etc.
