beta of version 8 problem accessing help

I just registered the beta version 8 program.
After registering I am no longer able to access the help menus structure.  The program aborts and is shut down by windows.

Make sure you have the latest build.  Then reinstall.

Just reinstalled.  STill aborting.  I am running on Windows 2000.

Me has had the same problem for the last 2 or 3 builds. i addressed it and asked about it in the new licensing thread.. Tried to combine 2 topics probably a bad idea but Me has found it to be a bug also. It wasn't there in earlier builds and Me is afraid to try and fix it by clearing registry etc..... Me doesn't wanna waste his restores. :-

hmmmmmm can't be Me have to be someone else. Will take Me some time to decide who..
Guess thats why my other post was deleted without any answers. Glad someone else had the same prob....
Same burning questions about the restores though and the 2 week period......................?????
