Is LAVCUVID working for me and if not, why ?
« on: March 22, 2012, 08:20:08 am »

I have a NVidia GTX 460 video card, selected Red October HQ as Video mode and checked "Hardware accelerate  video decoding...", because I assume that my video card supports that. However when I play a file and right-click and go to Direct Show Filters, I only see madVR as activated filter. All the other filters are greyed-out.
Does that mean that, e.g., LAVCUVID is not working for me ? And what could be the reason and/or how can I solve that ?
Btw, I am using MC 17, build 106.

All of the filters shown are "active." Also, LAV CUVID doesn't exist independently of LAV Video (for about 6 months now).

Thanks.
So "hardware accelerating" IS working ?
And the fact that I only can get into the madVR properties, is because all the other filters are "auto-configured" ?
