Playing Videos within interface but not small in a corner
« on: March 25, 2012, 08:50:47 pm »

Can anyone help me out here please? I have MC17 but I want to play videos within the main window instead of at the left corner in a small view. How do I get the videos to play within the interface without being in extra small mode or in a separate frame? Thanks in advance. Please assist me. Go detailed, step by step.

View > Display View, or Ctrl-3.

You may need to re-attach the view.  If so, right-click the display and reattach.

You want Display View which you can get to via the menu View\Display View. Or by keyboard shortcut ctrl+3.

If you want display view every time, then Options\General\Behaviour\Jump on play (video): Display View

You can also just go to Playing Now.  I think that's actually what you want.

If you so desire you can also detach/attach the display by pressing ctrl + 6.
I use a detached display all the time but that is partly because I have a multi-monitor setup.
