Tagging with Media Center 17

a query-
i am adding something to the comments field
the "comment" shows in MC17

does not show in MC15 or MP3Tag

any advice please

What is the file format?

Are you using a library server client?

If you are not using a library server client, could it be possible that you have accidentally disabled tag writing in Options > General > Importing & Tagging > Update tags when file info changes? (unchecked = disabled)

Does the new Comment tag value show up in the so called tag dump? (You can find instructions here: http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=59513.msg430491#msg430491)  If yes, please include the tag dump contents in your reply.
