I wouldn't bother trying to extract a single-value genre from a [Genre] filled by TMDb Genres. If you want a single-value genre, create your own using a custom field. For the sake of clarity, let's call that [Category]. It might be helpful to consider what 'category' values you would like to use first, but it's not essential. In a panes view that includes [Genre] and [Category] panes, select a [Genre], decide which of your Categories those movies belong in, and tag them accordingly. Start with ones you find easy. You might decide, for example, anything with [Genre]=[Romance] should have [Category]=[Romance], regardless of whether it's also a drama or a comedy. It doesn't really matter. If when you get to [Genre]=[Comedy] you decide a movie is better categorized as a Comedy than a Romance, change it. Or you might decide to add a 'Romantic Comedy' category. When you're done, your movies will be assigned to categories that make sense to you.
