In my setup I am running MediaCenter on a server and watch recorded TV shows on another (HT)PC. Once I am done watching a recorded show I delete it. When I done watching I turn the HTPC (not the server) off. Very frequently I discover that the show wasn't deleted on the server and that's apparently because there is quite a bit of a delay b/w the time I click delete on the HTPC and the file is actually deleted on the server. We're talking a couple of minutes here. I don't want to wait a couple of minutes once I am done watching and want to turn my HTPC off. Is there any way to speed this up / make this a real time delete?
