i use panes view to "manage" the music collection.
my preference is album art to the left then track number, track name and then duration.
i resize album art to the size of 16 tracks in an album.
when i close and restart media center my preferences have disappeared
this is only i think in the most recent build [ i think]

has something changed ?

for various reasons i also have a "blast from the past" version 15.0.174 installed

Uncheck: Options > Tree & View > List > Auto size columns   (assuming it is now checked)

I have never liked that option. I prefer to preserve my adjusted column widths and I rather see a truncated long text string than a very wide column. Whenever needed the missing part of the text string can be seen in the tooltip when hovered over (and of course by adjusting the column width by hand).

It was from this change in 17.0.111:
Changed: Switched list headers from a skinned system control to a custom JRiver control (please report any issues).

17.0.118 (coming later this week) will fix the problem:
Fixed: Column width / order changes were not being saved.
