Recording Sources
« on: May 07, 2002, 02:32:26 am »

Hi

I have a creative Live drive. This card has about 7 different inputs that i can record from, There is one called Auxillary 2 which is what I play my Vinyl through, I would however like to record an album from this source, but this option isn't available in MJ as a recording source.

Can you please help.

Thanks

You can choose the "Mixer" source in MJ, then manually select the source you want to record from in windows mixer. The auto volume setting won't be able to automatically control the source volume in this case however, you will have to manually raise and lower the volume in windows mixer until you see a low clipping percentage (below .5% or so) in the MJ auto volume dialog.

Thanks
If I had used half of my brain or read the instructions, I would never be in this mess

Cheers
