Blank Screen

Since I started using 17.0.122 the theater view  video playback is a blank screen. If I change to standard mode (ctrl+1)and then back it works. The video is playing & sound is coming out. This happens on a fresh start of MC17 after that video plays fine. I use HQ settings of Red October & all my ATI drivers are current. This happens on Win7x64 with as well as Win8cp x64.

I have narrowed it down to MC 17.0.122 & it's auto configure of decoder & filters. In madvr my display is in a list 4 with ? after them as an unknown type. I uninstalled 17.0.122 & installed 17.0.99. This time madvr correctly identifies my only display and everything works. I updated to 17.0.122 & madvr updated but retained the correct configuration from 17.0.99. Now everything works. So whatever you did from .99 - .122 broke it! I tried a fresh install of 17.0.122 again and the same problem! Guess upgrading from 17.0.99 is the choice for my PC.

There were several updates of madVR between these releases.  Perhaps madshi can throw some light on this.
