Newbie Question - changing library files based on tags
« on: May 10, 2012, 10:14:15 am »

Hello,

Is there a way in JRiver to change files on my library folder based on changes made on the tags?

Additional Information: Say for example: I had a song in spanish with the name misspelled. Instead of "Corazon Espinado" it should be "Corazón Espinado" from Carlos Santana and Maná instead of Carlos Santana and Mana.  I changed the "ó" from "Corazón" and the "á" from "Maná" in the tags.  I right clicked the file and clicked on Library Tools>Update Library from tags but when I went to the file folder, the file was still the same.

Thanks

Use Rename, Move & Copy, setting a template for File rules.  You can disable the Folder rule if the folder is not changing.
