Hi,
At the start of MC, you can directly go to a part of MC by setting this in the option menu. I would like to go to a more specific part like:
- a certain map in 'drives and devices' or
- artist in 'audio'

Is this possible?

nope, but you can set it to start up where you left it, options/startup/interface/"last location"

you can also set favorites, menu->view->navigation where you can bookmark "a certain map in 'drives and devices'"

then add navigation to the toolbar for quick access.

I know the options you are mentioning, but it is not doing what I mean.
It is not a big deal, but maybe your received the question more often, and can you put it on the wishlist.
