start movie in full screen

Hi - can someone tell me how I can set MC17 to start a movie in full screen when the file is clicked? TIA

Non Theater View setting
Tools/Options/General/Behavior/Jump on play (video)/Display View or Display View (even in Playing Now)
Theater View setting
Tools/Options/Theater View/Behavior/Jump on play (video)/Display View or Display View (even in Playing Now)

If you open a file from a Windows Explorer, it always opens in windowed Display View.

I don't think this is necessarily true any more. I believe there is a setting somewhere that allows you to uncheck this option. I often launch videos form Windows and they go straight to fullscreen.

In options/general there is a setting for "jump to windowed mode when playback is started externally"
