Scheduler question
« on: May 02, 2002, 01:52:42 pm »

I like to record streaming NPR shows with MJB and listen to shows on my PDA, which Media Jukebox makes very easy. Start RealPlayer, tell Media Scheduler to record for an hour, then it's compressed and ready to go. Very nice.

My only frustration, though, is that there's no way (that I can figure) to tell Media Jukebox to start recording NOW and record for the next, say, hour. With the scheduler, I have to tell it to start recording a minute from now, then scramble over to Real and hope it all sync together (it usually does). Is there a way to say, "record now for the next 48" minutes without using the scheduler?

That quibble aside, 8 looks great.

Didn't get an answer to this the first time, so reposting to thread so it gets bumped up... any shortcut to "record now for 60 minutes" short of setting the scheduler to start recording for an hour beginning one minute from now?

Did that make sense? Next Page
