Hi

I have at last decided to ditch my long loved minidisc deck, but before I do I want to rip my minidisc compilations.  The deck has digital coax and optical outs and my pc's only external digital in is USB.

What would people recommend as a low cost means of achieving a digital transfer? I have seen some little coax to USB boxes on eBay, but I'm uncertain about how or whether they work.

Appreciate any ideas.
