Still no EPG for Australia?

1) no EPG for FREEVIEW Australia Digital
I don't really want to go back to using epgstream to get XMLTV guide info, this is an outdated form since win7 MC in Oz http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=72202.0

if you don't want to use epgstream for whatever reason, have you tried EPG collector?
I've gone back to this now because I discovered I can run it for both DVB-T and DVB-S at the same time and get data for more channels in one hit. I read somewhere that a recent fix made it work again in Australia. YMMV.
--- Quote ---2) still unable to change the refresh rate

I agree it would be nice for TV to auto change refresh rate.
Try setting the auto refresh rate in MadVR also.
--- Quote ---On the plus side, what an AWESOME bit of HTPC software, I would buy it at the drop of a hat IF Australia Digital FREEVIEW was incorporated as standard, my only other gripe would be the fees for future upgrades, I feel that is a bit off when you purchase a license it should include future developements (at least to a certain build level)

There have been a huge number of upgrades included free in MC17. DVB-S, DVB-C, Grid EPG improvements, room correction to name just a few. These are not just 'bug fixes', but constant product improvement and many, many new features.
Whether you spend your money on this product is entirely your choice, but I for one think it is remarkable value for the cost.
