WMA Error When Burning CD. Help!
« on: April 30, 2002, 12:21:59 pm »

When i go to burn a cd, it starts to work, then on the 4th song, it says "WMA error. Cannot open sound output device.". Then you hit "ok", then another one pops up that says "Cannot Create Decoder Control". I have all the plugins and encoder plug ins, but it will not work. I even tried using Ogg Vorbis and Lame, but I always get the WMA error. I have the latest version of the free version, but I don't know what to do. Please help. Thanks

What version of MJ are you using?

Are you playing at the same time?  If so, don't.

Version 7.2.328 I believe. How do I find out? No, I don't play when I burn. No matter what I do, I always get that WMA error.

See Help/About for the version.

Try playing all the files you want to burn.  Some WMA files require a license and may not be burnable.
