Tags missing after using JB
« on: March 17, 2003, 11:13:51 am »

Since I started using JukeBox a number of my MP3s are now missing tags. Could I have done something in JB that caused this?

What is your MJ version and what tool did you use before to tag your mp3's?

I'm using version 8.0.394. I'm ripping with Exact Audio Copy and compressing with LAME.

It is possible that MJ may be set up to remove all ID3 tags. You can also set it up to NOT remove tags, or to add or remove v2 tags or add or remove v1 tags. You can get to the setting through the following path:

From the menu bar choose:
Settings|Plug-in Manager|Input|MP3 Plugin|Configure
Pick the actions you want to happen when you save after editing the tags. Save your settings.
