WMA Track Numbering
« on: April 30, 2002, 04:33:27 am »

Anyone know why when you rip to WMA format that the track numbering that displays under Windows XP explorer and WMP 8 starts from number 2?  I can't see any option to fix this.  Happens in both MJ8 and MJ7.

Had also this prob w/ Windows Media Player... but the track number is usually correct in the track field, so rename the files using the properties

Have over 400 CD's ripped to WMA format & have never encountered this problem in either RealOne Player, Microsoft Media Player 8,  or MJ 8.0.
