DLNA transcoding blu-ray
« on: August 04, 2012, 10:17:05 am »

My blu-rays are full ISO rips, mounted using Virtual Clone Drive. When I first installed MC a little over a month ago I was able to stream them to my Samsung TV using DLNA and the Samsung TV profile. Now, even though the server is set to convert unsupported formats and although that conversion works for my mkv files. I am told the blu-rays are in an unsupported format. It seems MC is no longer transcoding the blu-rays but I have no idea why. Has anything changed in recent builds?

Sorry, I realise this is in the wrong sub-forum!   :-[

I now find I can directly play the mounted drive to the TV using the MC interface, but playing the library item (.iso) to the TV does not work, nor does playing the library item on the TV, using its DNLA browser.

I'm pretty sure this used to work.  ?
