Optimizing JR17 for a new Mac Mini
« on: November 18, 2012, 05:44:16 pm »

I've been running an older XPC Shuttle with Win 7 as a music server and have decided it's time for a change. Or upgrade. I have a Centrance DacMini with the same form factor as a Mac Mini so I was thinking of going that way. Two related questions come to mind: how do I optimize my Mac Mini as a platform for JR 17, And how do I optimize JR 17 for the Mac - if it;s even necessary.

Thx
Dave

I guess I'm confused about the purpose of the "upgrade." Is it just form factor? It doesn't make much sense to drop the cash on a mini and then run Windows on it. You're paying for OSX.
