Webremote plugin is a demonstration plugin with limited capabilities.  It could be extended.

i'll gladly extend it if you care to share the source so i don't have to rewrite the embedded web server stuff from scratch. i'll email you.... Next Page

in all honesty, i think it would be fun to work on this. the enhancements, that i would do intially:
-ability to add songs to playing now
-ability to see playlists
-ability to see album covers
-fix volume control and add controls to bottom/top of every page
-start web server on startup of mj

other interesting enhancements would be:
-playlist creation
-ability to "skin" the html output similar to track info

i used the web remote all weekend with a visor with a wireless network springboard. this has completely changed the way i think about digital audio playback. extemely powerful....

can't wait from my audiophile2496 card to arrive today. now i just need to rip 600 cds....

Drop me a line at matt @ jriver.com  Let me know what you have in mind, and what sort of programming you're into. (C|PLS||PLS|, VB, etc.)

Thanks.

This would definitely be HUGELY welcomed.
If you do make it, you should make the html for it extremely easy to customise so that people can integrate it with their site or design it however they want. Next Page
