Not to throw ice water on this thread, but none of the features quoted so far really seem to be "must-have" major additions. I'm sure some will find them useful, but personally, I'm not sure it's worthy of a full new-version release.
Or am I expecting too much from a full-point version update? :(

Is it possible for that users who don't use video to do a maybe "optimized" version without that stuff (audio only version)?

Yes, I appreciate that... I have a headless CAPSv2 computer and
use the MC for audio only.
