Region code error
« on: August 04, 2012, 08:14:54 am »

I've been using Media Center 17.  on half of the DVD's i've ripped when i play them they show a screen that says "this disk is not formatted to play in this region".  Some disks work fine, some don't.  There is also no real pattern as to which disk will give the error.   has anyone else had this problem?  Please tell me there is a solution.

Ken

this is the system the HTPC is plugged into, (before i built the HTPC)

Are these DVD's actually for different regions?

Do you use Slysoft AnyDVD?

Nick.
