There's some history to the idea of a sleep timer.

Years back I really wanted it in the program.  Some other team members didn't.

So we compromised and made a plugin (the last Interface plugin here):

I still think it'd be nice to just make this an integrated feature of the program.  Maybe I'll be able to sneak it into v18.

I'd very much like such sleep timer functionality. Apart from the spartan functionality, the existing plugin surely lacks subtly in appearance especially on a larger screen. It would be good if it remembered the last setting used too.

For me the plugin doesn't work with MC18  :-\
