Who reads this?

Do J River folks ever read and answer here, or is it just fellow users?

It's both.  Most of the users are smarter than some of the staff.  I don't want to name any names, but there are lots of itchy fingers out there hovering over keyboards.

Thanks for the answer.  I asked because is seems to me that for J River not to read and respond to each and every legitimate post would be very rude, seeing as how they give no other source of support for the MJ products.  If someone gets no solution here, are there any other options?

This is it for support.  If you'll try it, you should be able to get good help.  If your question doesn't get answered, just add an empty reply to it to bring it to the top of the list.  If it still doesn't get answered, it means nobody knows the answer.

Or if that does not work, and you have a thick skin, get snarky. Then folks will beat you about the head and ears, question your worth to society, and cough up an answer.

We're funny that way.

My point in asking the question was to get an idea of how much hope I should have and how annoyed I should be at J River.  I'm not fond of throwing money away on programs that just shut down on me.  If the problem is something I can correct, that's great, but since I hadn't gotten much response so far, I was curious as to who I was asking for help.

Tuesday Guy went to Paris without letting JimH know. OOPS, Can someone find Wednesday Guy quick.......

"Poor Zeek"  JimH is the big guy, you know, the CEO. He even reads post while traveling the world. So, if he is paying attention then you know that his staff is on their tipy toes 110% of the time.

If they made an autobiographical film of 'A Day in the Life of JimH', who would be your choice of male lead? For me, there's only one possibility - Charlton Heston !!!!

Nah!  Groucho Marx.
He wouldn't want to join a club that would have him as a member.
