Should I wait for mc18 then buy?
« on: September 27, 2012, 02:36:48 pm »

Hi,

I note that if I buy MC17 I will be eligible for MC18, would I be correct in thinking when MC18 is released I will be eligible for MC19...

Thanks.

Thanks for thinking of purchasing.

We're just starting MC18, so it's a pretty good time to buy in my opinion.

(Of course, it's always cheapest to wait.  But taken to it's logical extreme, you would never buy anything by that logic -- your hair would be six feet long and you'd drive a '77 Pinto.)

You'll probably have to wait around 10 more months if you want a MC18 licence that is applicable for MC19. And it would be a gamble. Perhaps you would be certain in 11-12 months, but why wait almost a year and save lousy 20 bucks for something that you know will be great? :)

Thanks for the prompt replies folks.

I thought as much but it was worth asking the question hey.

I'm having a few teething problems but i'm sure with the assistance of the great community I'll get over them  ;D

Thanks,

Watching the software improve over time is one of the best parts of owning it, in my opinion.  The product you end up with is always an improvement over the version you purchase, when you purchase early :)
