What's the best way to check accuracy of library?

Question:  What's the best way to occasionally check that the fidelity between the library and files on disk?  For example: Are they in the right folder?  Are the tags correct?

It depends on what you care about.

The Rename tool is good for checking file location in your media folders.  Select all the files, and select/enter your media rules.  The preview window will guide you. Alternatively, you can create a view that compares actual vs. desired file locations.

Tags on disc will generally be the same as tags in the library if you've left default MC auto-tagging settings.  Otherwise, you can compare a given tag value against the tag value in the file using the Tag() function, but this will be very slow.
