Hey guys.  Any idea if MJ will support the MPIO portable mp3 players?  (Specifically, the FD100 model).  As I understand it, MJ can be used as an upload manager for any type of player that shows up as a removable drive under "my computer," is that right?  Will I need a plugin?

Update:  the MPIO does NOT show up as a removable drive in explorer, so I guess I will need a plugin.  Does one exist?

Yeesh.  I'm an idiot.  I guess I should have checked the plugins section first.

Ok, so now that I'm straight on the fact that it's there, does anyone know how well it works?  From the accompanying graphic, it appears to be for the D series.  Will it work with the F series?

Also, MPIO makes a nice player and all, but their included software doesn't let you copy MP3 and WMA files from the player onto your hard drive in a lame-ass attempt to reduce piracy.  First of all, since MJ + plugin is a standalone system, will I be able to do this?  Second, is there any way of modifying the files (ie filenames, etc) using the MJ handheld manager once they are already on your portable?  Because to get around the MPIO restrictions, all you have to do is change the file extension... but I don't know if MJ will let you do that.

We do not have an F series player here to test, so I do not know if it will work. Based on the information I have, I think it will.  

The Plug-in does not have a built in way to transfer the files back to the PC, because it is not enabled by MPIO.  

In regards to the transfer back to the PC, have you managed to do this by renaming the files? If so, how? Is there an option in their software that allows transfers for certain file types?
