I really like the new OSD menu system in MC18 Theater View. Could we also have the abillity to shift the subtitles up and down from this menu? I use it often and it would be such much easier to do it from my remote, instead of having to find a mouse and keyboard to do it.

Is it possible to move the subs over the often black area of the screen?

Yes, with Blu-ray rips using ROHQ it is. It is very useful for that particular reason. I use it to move subtitles into the black area, when the default position is inside the video frame.

It is not possible with DVD rips using the current filters we use for DVD playback.

Then I vote yes I'll try with some more formats and settings to see what's needed for this, but I hope it's not just for bluray rips in ROHQ. I know there's been some discussions about this before, and it was pointed out that this was a difficult thing to do anything about. I do not yet know the reason for this my self.

With ffdshow it is possible to set the position of the subs permanently in the black area. Could we have this for MC also?
