Monkey's 3.96 and MJ8

Hi,

When I compress a .wav using Monkey's 3.96 and try to play back the .ape file in MJ8 (254) I get serious skipping.  If I compress the same .wav to .ape using MJ8 it plays fine.  Do I need an updated .ape input plugin for MJ8 to play files created with the standalone Monkey's 3.96?  MJ reports the installed APE plugin as v3.95a1.

Try MJ Help/Check for Updates to see if your plugins are current.

Thanks Jim

I checked for updates but there were none.  I installed the winamp plugin that come with Monkey's Audio and that works, although it does not pass the format info to MJ when I open properties and click the format tab.

Once the new Monkey's Audio SDK is released, we'll build an updated Monkey's Audio plugins for MJ8.

It should be sometime this week.
