rar is a compressed file.  Try a search for rar on google.

Yes RAR is a compression scheme for data like ZIP.

There's a good freeware compression tool available that looks and acts a lot like Winzip and also supports rar. You can get it here: http://www.ultimatezip.com/download.htm

After you extract the audio file from the .rar file, you should be able to play it.

Yeah, it acts a little TOO much like Winzip. I'm suprised Niko Mak hasn't sued or anything.
