error message
« on: March 10, 2003, 10:19:54 pm »

Yeaterday when I tried to rip a CD I kept getting a message saying an error had occurred and media jukebox would log off and I would have to restart the programme. This happened when I tried other CD's and has never happened before. I am using Windows 2000 professional and haven't had any problems before. Any ideas ?

Could be many things

Do you have...
1) latest MJ v8 (396)
2) W2k SP3 installed
3) Latest Adaptec ASPI (4.7.1.2) - latest build can use it's own ASPI drivers - but you should still update the system ASPI. Make sure MJ IS NOT running when you update.

Something else I've noticed- the system creates an error and closes down when I click on 'devices'. Anybody have any further suggestions?
