Smartlist presets

Here's one for you!

First of all, I'd like to take the oppurtunity to thank JRiver for the idea of smartlists, it's super!

Then, the idea. How about having a section on the site (or in MJ) where you can upload and download smartlist presets? Could be fun to see how people use their imagination for setting up the smartlists!

Wants to see stuff like that ?


I designed a few smarlists for random track picking, my handeld flash cards and
something I call Smart Categories. I use field custom3 to store some informations
about my tracks/albums categories using a compact mnemonics format so that it is
easy to design smartlists rules to retrieve my categories upon import.
A category string will look like :
ATY:live SRC:cd OWN:flo PRF:male ENC:ape high
ATY (album type) live, studio, album, compilation, tribute, BestOf ....
SRC (source) cd, dvd, internet, tape, vinyl ....
OWN (owner) myself, john, paul, mary ....
PRF (performer) male, female, duet, choir, instrumental, piano, guitar....
ENC (encoding parameters) ape high, mpc xtreme, mp3 r3mix ....
Well it's just up to your imagination !
