Oh man, I some how had select my entire music folder and when I went to edit a song name and hit enter....to my horror it began renaming ALL OF MY SONGS to that name!! ACK!  I did a "Force Quit" to stop the madness.  We really need to get and UNDO for ID3 tag edited. Thanks.

Damn computers, always doing what they're told...

Undo would be good, but a little complicated, I think.  JRiver woud have to add a string of operations (to be 'undone') within the database with every file.  I suppose you could go back to your latest backup of your music.

One thing I meant to add:  Some engineering software I use warns you if an operation you are about to perform will affect more than X entities (X=10 or 20 or 50 or whatever).  MJ could have some simple logic built in saying "I don't think this dude really wants to do this" and issuing a warning box like "This operation will permanently change the ID3 tags in 1,076 files.  Do you really want do this?  REALLY?!?"

If the file names are still correct (not the id3 tag), you could choose the "fill properties from filename . . ." option
