Since the simplification of the information display with MC18, I seem to have lost the ability to display the currently playing title when in display view using the arrow up/down key. How can I restore this feature because I'm sometimes lost when viewing TV series back-to-back?

And when at it, if someone knows how to have the display show the file name as shown in explorer (with or without the extension I don't care as long as it is not the cut down version like in MC17), I would very much appreciate the help. I'm feeling a bit lost ? with TV Series reported information during playback in display view since the last two major versions of MC. I confess I still cannot understand the logic as to why this has to change.
