Powerdvd and jriver
« on: November 28, 2015, 07:56:59 pm »

I'd like to use jriver and madvr for bluray playback but I don't have anydvd nor do I want to purchase it. I do have powerdvd 15. Can jriver use powerdvd in the background to handle commercial/encrypted blurays?

Nice work!

Currently, most of my 3D BDs are stored as .iso files on my RAID.  I can get JRiver 21 to mount (using Virtual CloneDrive) and play them, but as you know, MC21 on plays them in 2D.  If I want to watch them in 3D, I stop MC21 and use TMT5 or 5KPlayer.

Do you know of a way to this scripting and MC21 to work with .iso filetypes, but only 3D ones, not the 2D ones?

I've not had time to test (don't use ISO), but I would expect when you "play" the ISO in MC you can have it mounted by the WinOS (in Win 10) or an ISO Mounter like Virtual Clone Drive, MC will the "see" this as a 3D BD and the script will kick off your playback using your configured sw.

See how you go

Thanks
