delay when time shifting live TV using capture card

Since I upgraded to MC 18, I have noticed that if I time shift live tv when I am using the colossus there is a significant delay compared to time shifting on channels from my tuners.  When I jump back or forward it takes a second or so to adjust the position and starting playing again.  This does not happen with tuners and it does not happen with recorded tv.

Any help is appreciated,

I can't think of a reason why it would be lagging.  Is it playing on a client?  I tried on my computer with Hauppauge HD PVR and see no delays.

I see the same behavior on a client and on the server.  I will check the log tomorrow night and see if I can see anything that is unusual.
