Phatnoise : the dog's cajones or what
« on: February 22, 2002, 03:38:00 pm »

I was browsing around for a way to play MP3s in my car and I found this

http://www.phatnoise.com/products/componentfeatures/index.php

It looks pretty impressive. If you can put data files on it, it hopefully appears as a mounted drive under Windows. That means MJ will be OK with it, yes?

I saw that device when we went to COMDEX. It is very cool.

Media Jukebox will work with it but there are some restrictions. As far as I remember their file manager uploads some additional information to the device (playlist names I think).

FYI -- PhatNoise now offers a USB 2.0 cradle and 40 GB cartridges!
