[18.0.68] Request: Fill episode number from list order
« on: November 23, 2012, 04:52:51 am »

Self-explanatory. Like the existing "Fill track numbers from list order" when dealing with music, but for the "Episode" tag. It would be easier than having to manually populate this field when I have a ton of DVD/BD rips (I rip by episode with DVDFab's title/chapter selection functions) and other files (anime fansub releases) and, by extension, alow for easier use of the "Get Movie & TV Info" option.,

There is a two-step way to do this. You can just use "Fill track number from list order" and then the "Move / Copy Fields" function to move the track number into the episode field.

Granted, its not straight forward, but still a lot easier then manually doing it.

I... forgot about that... Wow. Thank you. :P

I still think it would be convenient to implement, if only for consistency, but thank you, all the same. :)

I have not. Elaborate?

Select your files, and edit your Episode field, entering the expression Lasse_Lus posted.
