(Simple?) Question regarding home network setup
« on: December 12, 2012, 11:17:53 am »

I have gotten an access key on my main/server computer. When using the "Testing" function, I get the message that this server is not available from the internet, but anyway, I'm only going to use it on my home network. So this message goes on, saying: "To use this server from other computers on your local network, select it in the tree (Playing Now>Playing From) and click "Load Library". Problem is, on my laptop (client) there is no "Load Library" function in the tree. Only "Main Library" and "Add Library".
If I try "Add Library", I'm told there's a problem loading the library.
I have set the Music folder on my server to "Share"
I have tried connecting the client both with and without a cable
Both computers are running the same version.
I have made this work earlier, on a previous laptop.

Any hints?

Thanks a lot! It worked.
(I probably used the wrong words when doing my search.)
