Pop when changing zones
« on: December 08, 2012, 01:30:46 am »

When selecting a new track/video in a different zone, a "pop" can be heard in various channels as play is selected. If starting a second track in the same zone, no pop is audible. Tried setting the 'Play silence at startup for Hardware Synchronization' under Audio setting for all zones to 1 sec without success.

Occurs when manually selecting a different zone, or using the new Zone Switch feature (awesome function BTW  ;D)

Running Asus Xonar ST/H6 PCI card.

one way i can get pops is when the samplerate changes. for instance switching between an mp3 and an ape file. and that is when using asio. when you set in dsp>outputformat the sample rate the same for all zones, do you still have pops?

I have audio tracks that play in the same zone with varying sample rates, eg:16/44.1, 24/96 & 24/192 - there is no pop when changing between these rates.
