Hey,

We're going to get a dock for our Nexus, so as title, can it be done? The app would need to support NAS for the media, rather than locally on the device.

The perfect scenario is a JRiver app that can turn the Nexus into an MC client?

The basics are in place with Gizmo as you can both play music and view photos but it is manual process as there is no slide show as such.  In Gizmo, start Audio playback as you normally do, then navigate to your picture area where you can Play and Album / groups of albums than you can then swipe through (though in testing I found I was not rendering some of the pics - just a black screen).
