Gizmo - Pull or Push Your Files
« on: December 26, 2012, 03:58:18 pm »

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone could explain the benefit of either Push Or Pulling your Music Files, using Gizmo.....I use mostly Flac Files and Gizmo to pull my music from a networked PC using a Yamaha RX-A1000
Plays most every thing I throw at it......not 24 Bit / 192khz in the present set up unfortunately. But that's the limitations of the Amp, not J River.
Always looking for the optimum settings to get the most from your music.
Would Like also if anyone knows how to be able to stream ISO files......don't seem to be able to get that working either.
One more thing, the Cover Art never seems to display great, would appreciate if there is a way to stipulate the highest quality Cover Art also.....

Cheers for any info.

Both pull and push will work well with a good DLNA device.  So just pick the one with the nicer interface.

For the other questions, you might have better luck if you start a thread with a descriptive subject for each question.

Thanks.
