Keyboard does not work properly

For years I use a Samsung Pleomax keyboard in conjunction with version 12 (Windows 7). For years that is fine, but after a reinstallation of Windows the keys for pause, stop etc. does not work anymore with this software. I've already reinstalled the program but without reuslt. There is no newer driver for this keyboard. Who knows what to do? The annoying thing is that I still must perform these actions with the software. One important thing: it works when I have Media Player on my screen. When it is in the background it does not work.

MC has "Media Key" settings.  I don't know if they are in MC12.

I don't see Media Key Settings, but I never used such settings earlier, so something else is wrong. I see the keys are only working if the program is active in the foreground.
