White Bear and Squeezebox Touch
« on: December 23, 2012, 07:44:02 pm »

I have tried following whatever directions I could find for operating White Bear in MC to send my music files to my SB Touch, but I keep getting the following broad error message:
There was a problem controlling the selected DLNA device. Double-check your device, server and network settings.
That covers a lot of ground.
Can anyone help me with this set-up? I really love MC's interface and loathe Squeeze Server.
FTR, my Touch is connected to a Micromega MyDAC. I can get Logitech Media Server with EDO plugin to work with it (of course), but not MC.
BTW, I have been following the following discussion:

Thanks

MC17 made great strides in bringing better DLNA playback experience, esp. for Squeezebox's.  I wouldn't spend time with Media Jukebox.  Try MC18.

Can you describe where MC is located wrt. SBS/LMS?

Your firewall(s) and routers need to alllow uPnP.

Sorry. New to this. Posted in wrong forum. Am using MC18. Didn't realize Media Jukebox was a program.
Will re-post.
