Unsupported format and high bitrate conversion Option in the drop-down not working for me when trying to send ALAC files to SD card in AAC (using the QAAC external encoder).
Confusion because both formats have the same extension?
Files will remain in in Apple Lossless format. Working well with LAME (i.e. ALAC to mp3)
There should be an option to specify the High bitrates (if by default 320 or higher is used as a threshold this is good enough for me!!)
Also...Shouldn't the Conversion cache be left out of the library? Very confusing when trying to sync with smart Playlists for example recently imported items will show the Cache instead of the actual recently imported files in the library. (Or for some reason a converted album was left in the cache for some reason..)
Just in case you ask the default My Music folder where the cache is is not in my Import list
