Netflix - only getting old movies/a few movies

Hi

When I access Netflix trough JRiver I do not get all movies and it seems as if the movies I do get access to is very old movies - or is not playable.
What is wrong???

Netflix in MC does not work in Europe. Trond-Eirik seems to me like a Norwegian name. Are you maybe in Norway? (I am in Sweden and I see the same as you.)

Thats right, I'm in Norway.
So this is a confirmed bug? Does anyone know if it's expected to be fixed?
If it is the same issur for all countries outside the US quite a number of user might be affected.

I think JRiver would call it a current limitation. I seem to remember that the limitation was said to be due to lack of some Netflix API (the program language needed for JRiver to display and handle the info) for non US accounts. You could try to search the forums for Netlix and Europe (or even Norway).

I live in Norway, and have the same problem. Currently, I start Netflix in a browser and use MC's loopback feature to play back sound. It does not give the advantage of highest quality video rendering (MadVR) and Convolution audio room correction does not work with loopback. I does, however, provide ASIO audio playback and teh possibility to bass management and any DSP MC can provide except convolution.

Hmm, that might be a solution - but as I have small children that's not an option since it is a bit cumbetsome to go forth and back.

I think I have a better solution.

If I remember correctly Firefox is Open Source, right?
In FireFox there is a plugin/setting that causes Netflix to think that you are a us user.
That same functionality could bee included in JRiver Media Center - as a configurable setting.
That would be a much better solution than the current one - as the current one basically causes Netflix in JMC to be totally useless for non us-users.
