Begging an answer to missing DVD menu
« on: January 26, 2013, 09:55:43 pm »

Media Server=the hardware no the program.
MC 18 Server=the program

When I run MC18 on my HTPCs and import my media files from my Media server everything runs great.  I can right on the movie that is playing, see the option for DVD menu and select it.   Once I connect my HTPCs to my media server through MC18 server, I lose the ability to even see the option for DVD menus when I right click on the screen.  Why is this?

DVD Navigator, the filter that powers DVD playback, does not support playback over the network.

We work around this by doing "title playback" (basically our own light-weight navigator), but menus are not supported in that case.

If you put the DVD files on a network path all the machines can see (UNC or mapped drive), you will work around this limitation.
